Princess Cut Diamond Earrings - Gold vs. Silver

It's not about the value of course, each of them has their own value in the market but this is not what this article is about.

It doesn't matter what the value of the parts in a specific jewelry, what matters is the way everything is getting together to form this amazing thing that called jewelry. So when you look at a specific element of an earring you always try to find the most perfect thing to put in that spot whether it's the kind of precious stone it's shape color etc. or the kind of metal that fit best for a specific combination of elements.

Gold has always been the favorite when it comes to rings especially wedding bands, but when you look at earrings the perspective change you'll see that gold is not that popular in comparison to other metals. Silver has always been a popular among those who cannot afford 24K Gold and if you try to judge by the general public this will always have an extreme effect on the result in the market, the reason is simply because most people don't have enough money to purchase a jewelry with that kind of metal, and the purer the metal the less people will wear it.

A clear example would be Platinum, it's definitely more expensive than gold and silver and to many it's also a lot nicer too, still it's not that popular even in wedding bands and it's obvious why since this is only because it's just way too expensive for most of the public to get and wear.

I wish I could say this in a more clearer way so whoever read this would understand the concept that more expensive things have less consumer base.

This is why popularity is not the way to judge what is better especially when we talk about jewelry it's important to understand that the way to judge which kind of metal is better whether gold or silver or platinum if not for the general public to choose since affordability is affecting the consumer base.

The only way to really appreciate how well every part of a specific jewelry like earrings and diamond rings etc. is the really looking how well everything is going together so for example if we look at the princess cut diamond earrings that we know that princess cut is very famous and the shape of the princess cut makes it go very well on earrings so we'd consider gold versus Silver would have to go and look how well it goes together with the princess cut diamond this is why you cannot consider only one kind of medal for a specific kind of precious stone cut.

Really though that's gold wedding bands are very popular and there is no reason to ask why because it's obvious for everyone who thinks about it for a second that people really appreciate the gold this is why the tradition of gold wedding band exists, in bracelets gold is not that popular as silver or any other metals. This is simply because bracelets are not that important as wedding bands so people buy that kind of metals that they can afford like silver and copper I don't want to assume that silver and copper is way more better even though it's popular since people buy it because they cannot afford the more expensive metal.
